Cabbage Juice for Ulcers

Cabbage Juice. The trick is to consume at least one quart (946 ml) of fresh cabbage juice throughout the day for one month. I break it up into 4 times per day at 0.25 quarts (237 ml).

I use Green Cabbage three times, and Red Cabbage one time per day. You can do whatever you want, just know that green cabbage seems to work better for me.

The goal is to stretch out the quart per day in four intervals, because if you drink it all 946 ml at one time then it can make you really gassy! (please take this to the fart room)

Main Recipe: 4 days a week
1 (3 inch) Wedge of red or green Cabbage
4 stalks of Celery
2 Carrots

2nd Recipe: 2 days a week
1/2 tomato
1 (4 inch) wedge or green cabbage
2 stalks of celery

3rd Recipe: 1 day a week
¼ head red or green cabbage
4 kale leaves
2 celery sticks
1 large or 2 small apples
½ inch knob of ginger
Also, the juicer you use really matters. Slow Auger Juicers are the best to keep all the nutrients in the cabbage.

Here are the best juicer to purchase
(in my opinion).

  1. Omega VSJ 843 $399.95
  2. Tribest Slowstar $379.95
  3. Green Star Elite Juicer GSE-5000 (if you like horizontal juicers) $549.95

Other Juicers to consider:

  • Omega Mega Mouth Slow Juicer $449.95
  • Kuvings Evolution Juicer EVO820 $599.95
  • The Champion Juicer $265.00
  • Shine Cold Press Juicer $149.95
  • Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer Elite $449.95
  • Green Star Pro Commercial $795.00

What about Centrifugal Juicers like the Breville or Jack LaLanne?
While these juicers will work great, the slow auger juicers that I listed above provide the maximum amount of nutrients and a higher juice yield for vegetables than these types of juicers. This is because Centrifugal juicers have a tendency to heat up the juice due to the high RPM's of the motor. The more the juice heats up, the more nutrients you lose.
